Taking advantage of the warm fall weather and wearing this trench every chance I get.
Hey all! I took some time away during Step 2 CS/CK prep as well as after in order to reconnect with friends and family. I was also feeling pretty blah about social media so I purposely put it aside. It was nice to not check my phone obsessively every few hours and just forget about it for a bit.
Happy to be back and posting on here! Now that I’m officially in my research year I thought I would give you all an update and some of my thoughts on this past year.
Hey guys! Just wanted to pop on here quickly and give you all an update. I finished third year (woohoo!) and did well on my Internal Medicine rotation (double woohoo!). Now it’s time for me to buckle down and study for Step 2.
For those of you who may not know, Step 2 is the second exam of three for the United States Medical Licensing Exam. Step 1 is usually taken before third year, Step 2 is taken before fourth year, and Step 3 is taken sometime after graduation and during intern year. Step 2 has two parts, Clinical Skills and Clinical Knowledge, both of which I am studying for! Step 2 is not as important as Step 1 but students still want to score well since it shows up on residency applications. You definitely do not want to take this exam lightly!
Hey guys! This blog post will be discussing a review of Freshly meal service. To be honest, I was hesitant when they first contacted me because this is in no way a food blog and I’ve never really discussed making food on my blog or Instagram except to say how terrible I am at it. The folks at Freshly must have paid attention because they let me try 6 of their items to review for you guys! Keep reading below to read about what I thought of their service and their food (scroll to the end to read my final impression).
If you’re interested, you can use the code med639 for $20 off your first 6 meals, making it $40 ($6.67/meal).
Disclaimer: These meals were gifted to me for review and all opinions are my own. I make no profit off the code, just wanted to help my fellow students save a few bucks and enjoy some yummy meals!
I’ll always state if I make a commission or not, and my opinions will always be 100% my own without influence…. Read The Post
